President and Group CEO at Sony Computer Entertainment, Andrew House, has officially announced the global sales of Sony’s newest console, PlayStation 4. The system has sold over 2.1 Million throughout 32 countries, which includes North America, Europe, and Australasia territories.Statement

Earlier this week, PS4 had beaten the PSP’s UK sales record, selling over 250,000 consoles within 48 hours, to become the fastest-selling console in British history.
