LOOKING FOR STAFF MEMBERS! After a brief hiccup here at STFUandPLAY we are now looking for web personalities and writers! If you want a home to post your creativity to the world about our passion that is video games then give me a holler! We would like to start doing everything from weekly video reviews to podcasts and written articles!
Our goal is to have a full staff next year with E3, and CES access. And I have no doubt that will happen. We already have industry contacts and just need the staff to get things going! We have the love and support from our partners and are ready to go.

STFUandPLAY.com was filming Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime playing Nintendo Wii Sports Resort this afternoon. Reggie did not seem to be having much luck in beating his opponent and made the comment, "I don't play games". Interesting comment coming from the president of one of the most popular gaming companies in the world. Just thought we would post this for laughs. Skip to 0:55 for the good stuff. |

I received a survey today from Playstation Network asking me to help Sony to create the ultimate GOW 3 Collectors Edition package! Sony is asking fans to rate what they find most or least important, and whether they would want a Kratos Statue, Figure, or Bust. Keychain, Necklace or T-Shirt. Check out the screenshots of the email I recieced below and see what Sony has in store for the collectors edition!

PS3 users are left scratching their heads again after another disappointing firmware release. With GDC 2009 in the rear view users have been speculating what features Sony would have in store for us with firmware release 2.70. Many people speculated at GDC that we might finally see some of the voice chat or party chat like options that Xbox 360 users have been enjoying for some time now.
But with todays official announcement and feature list from Sony, PS3 fans can continue to wait.
Don't worry though Sony did not leave us empty handed when it comes to communication updates. They have enhanced the way PS3 users can interact using a new Text Chat feature. Yes, you can communicate via chat rooms now, 3 simultaneously! Each room is allowed 16 users at once. Did I mention you can access Text Chat while playing your favorite game?
So let me get this straight, I can pause my game open the XMB and begin chatting with my friends via chat room? That doesn't sound inconvenient at all does it? Meanwhile 360 users continue to laugh while they use their voice party chat while Sony gives us the shaft again. |
